Apply the oil to the skin and massage in long strokes. For a more comfortable experience, massage away from the heart rather than towards the heart. Alternate gentle stroking with firmer movements and higher pressure, ensuring that any tension in the muscles is released.

For an enhanced experience; heat the massage oil in a warm water bath before applying it to the body. Pour the oil you intend to use into a small drinking glass and place it in a bowl with warm water for five minutes. Hot tap water at about 45 degrees Celsius will do the trick.
